Nonlinear interactions between internal gravity waves
Project DescriptionThe project will study the dynamics of a strongly stratified fluid, with special emphasis on nonlinear interactions between internal gravity waves. Theoretical and numerical investigations will be combined with statistical analyses based on data from MOZAIC data base, consisting of wind, temperature and ozon records from a large number of commercial air flights.
