Project Description

The main objective of this project is to investigate experimentally and theoretically the possibility of enhancement of bubble collapse and sonoluminescence by action of strong, highly symmetrical and stable polygonal shocks. Generation and stable behavior of this type of converging shocks has been investigated experimentaly and theoretically by the members of the group. The experimental study will be conducted by means of a new type of a shock tube.
