Information for students taking 5c1902 Fall Term 1996 Best for viewing this site! The first meeting of the course will take place in Room F52 at 8:00 on Tuesday 3 September 1996. At that time we will arrange more convenient meeting times. Actual in class time will be three hours per week. The official text book for the course is The Analysis of Complex Nonlinear Mechanical Systems: A computer algebra assisted approach. This is available from the Mechanics Department Office for 500 skr. . Others may purchase the book for the standard price of 700 skr.
The exam consists of a discussion with me about the problems. You will also be asked about the theoretical content of the course and something about one of your problem solutions. The exam should take about one hour. You must schedule an appointment with me during the exam period. It is possible to make special arrangements if needed. Note that graduate students must complete a special project. Please see me about this! |
