Abstract |
---|
Electron transport is an important process for many applications, such as molecular/nano-electronics, solar cells, and catalysis. It is fully controlled by electronic structure of the system and strongly influenced by the presence of environments and external fields. We present here several newly developed computational approaches, including scattering theory, large scale quantum chemical method and molecular dynamics, for studying elastic and inelastic electron transport in molecular/nano-electronics, as well as their dynamics and statistics behaviors. |
