Village of Montestigliano
The village of Montestigliano is in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, approximately 15 minutes south of the medieval city of Siena. The 18th century houses and farm buildings have been carefully restored to retain their original features common to Tuscan architecture. For further information visit http://www.montestigliano.it/.
Montestigliano provides nice facilities where the students can work in group. Each group of students, in addition to the scientific activity, will have to prepare lunch and dinner for the rest of the participants, on a rotating basis. Some time for a small social event (a visit to the town of Siena, wine testing), is also included.
